HOSA
We as Valencia’s HOSA chapter designed this pin (featured above) to show what we think best represents our state. We decided to use the hot air balloon within our design because New Mexico is known strongly for our International Balloon Fiesta. The Zia flag is incorporated to represent the States Native American Pueblo and Nuevo Mexico Hispano roots. Our use of the HOSA triangle is to help represent our three aspects of humankind’s wellbeing; thus being social, physical, and mental health. The heart explains how our Valencia chapter is the Heartbeat within HOSA. We used the following words:
OPPORTUNITY- because HOSA helps provide broad opportunities for our students.
KNOWLEDGE-HOSA also helps advance the knowledge that is gained through our chapter.
SKILLS- the skills that are needed to work in the health care community are constantly becoming more advance.
LEADERSHIP- HOSA helps encourage students to learn and achieve greatness by taking the lead for their own future.
What is HOSA?
