Valencia High School offers vocational classes providing students an environment to showcase their talents and pursue their aspirations.
Founded in 2005, Valencia High School was formerly known as Los Lunas Career Academy. The school opened its doors in 2006, and the first class graduated in 2010.
Valencia High School continues to offer vocational classes that provide students with hands-on experience in sheet metal and welding shops, a full auto shop, and a full kitchen for culinary arts. The school also offers project-based learning through Project Lead the Way Engineering and Biomedical Science courses. The facilities at Valencia High School include a weight room, wrestling room, gymnasium and locker rooms, two soccer fields, a football stadium with an all-weather track, a baseball field, a softball field, a field house, and a newly-built Performing Arts Center.
The state-of-the-art facility provides an excellent platform for students to showcase their talents and express themselves. The Valencia High School band and drama performers have an equipped place to perform and captivate their audience.
Valencia High School takes pride in its athletics program, and in 2017, the school added Power Lifting to its roster. The students are trained and motivated to perform their best and achieve their goals. In 2024, the school added an eSports Room, equipped with 15 gaming computers and two 75-inch flat-screen TVs, to provide students with access to Nintendo Switch games.
